Itinerary:

September 16- Arrive in Dublin, group transfer to hotel. This afternoon is at leisure.

Welcome dinner tonight at your hotel. (D)

 

September 17- Breakfast at hotel. Today, you have the freedom to create your own

itinerary with a Hop On Hop Off bus pass. This bus travels on a route around Dublin

city stopping at all the popular tourist sites, allowing you to stop and spend time at

each then catch the next bus traveling en route. Overnight in Dublin. (B)

 

September 18- Breakfast at hotel. Meet with your driver/guide this morning and

depart for Killarney. En route, stop to visit the Rock of Cashel, an impressive pre-

Christian settlement. The dramatic limestone rock, crowned with secular and

religious buildings, dominates the flat countryside for miles around. Next, continue

on to the village of Blarney. There is time to browse through Blarney Woollen Mills

to shop for Irish knitwear and crafts. You will also have the chance to walk across to

Blarney Castle with its magical stone that gives the gift of eloquence for a kiss.

Afterwards, head to the town of Killarney and check into your hotel. Overnight in

Killarney. (B)

 

September 19- Breakfast at hotel. Travel the road that winds around the beautiful

Iveragh Peninsula, better known as the Ring of Kerry. Stop along the way to take

photos of the breathtaking scenery. Return to Killarney for a group dinner at the

hotel. Overnight in Killarney. (B/D)

 

September 20- Breakfast at hotel. Today, the group will visit the small fishing village

of Kinsale before continuing on to Cork City, the second largest city in Ireland.

Explore the city, whose history is ever entwined with great ships and majestic liners.

Return to Killarney for the overnight. (B)

 

September 21- Breakfast at hotel. Depart county Cork and head to Dublin. Along the

way stop and visit Kilkenny city. Take a break to explore this medieval walled city,

before continuing on to Dublin. Upon arrival in Dublin enjoy a panoramic city tour.

The rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy a farewell dinner at your hotel. (B/D)
